In this position, you will be responsible for legal quality assurance and supervise a well-established team. You are responsible for handling appeals procedures and decisions for the Director of the Department of Education and Culture, as well as monitoring procedures. You coordinate matters within the Legal Service, manage supervision, and ensure uniformity. You are responsible for leading the activities of the service and managing staff (11). You guarantee the quality of projects and positions in procedures. You advise the management, its offices, and its general on legal matters. Your profile:- Degree in law and good knowledge of public law, law, and administrative law, ideally in public administration.- Strong service orientation and advisory skills.- Proficiency in German and good knowledge of French (at least level B2). General:The general secretary (SG) assists the Director of the Department of Education and Culture in fulfilling their tasks. As such, they coordinate the activities of the offices and sections and review all projects and proposals submitted to the Director of the Department of Education and Culture. The Legal Service is under the general secretary. It manages all appeal procedures falling under the jurisdiction of the Department of Education and Culture (INC) and prepares the resulting decisions. Furthermore, it oversees or supervises processes on behalf of the Department or the canton and supports the work of the Department in collaboration with the relevant offices.
