Lawyer Job Description As a lawyer within the General Directorate of Health, you provide support and legal advice to the service executives in their various areas of activity. Responsibilities Handle legal files relevant to the areas of activity of the General Directorate of Health Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions for the files of the General Directorate of Health, including to the head of the Department of Health and Social Action Respond to legal inquiries within the framework of activities of the Directorate Counsel the head of the department, the secretary-general, and the management regarding legal and political files through written notes and/or orally during scheduled meetings Monitor compliance with legal provisions, oversee the work on cantonal legal provisions, participate in responses to cantonal and federal matters Draft decisions under the head of the department and manage the files related to appeals against decisions made by the General Directorate of Health and the head of the department Handle appeal procedures and draft documentation for the Grand Council or the Council in the context of appeals against acts or regulations adopted by them in areas related to the General Directorate of Health Ensure legal monitoring and participate in the legal culture of the service For more details please consult the job description by clicking here or contact us by email at Write a law degree, ideally complemented by a supplementary degree in health law, with 3 years of professional experience within a court, a law firm, or as a lawyer within a canton, including a portion related to the health field Excellent knowledge of the functioning of federal and cantonal institutions Very good interpersonal skills, thoroughness in file management Excellent analytical and synthesis ability, customer-oriented vision, very good listening skills, and discretion Ability to work independently and in a team, spirit of mutual assistance and excellent written and oral expression in French and good knowledge of German In order to have all the necessary elements for the analysis of your file, we thank you for sending us, in addition to your CV, a cover letter as well as your work certificates and diplomas.
