As part of a departure, we are recruiting a: A researcher at 100% - Permanent contract Location: Lausanne Start date: May 1st What you bring to our mission Within the Investigations department, you will play a key role in combating social assistance abuses and the proper use of resources. Your main mission: to conduct investigations to verify the compliance of granted benefits and ensure respect for the principle of subsidiarity. You will be involved in sensitive files, collaborating with internal services and numerous external partners, with a spirit of rigor, discernment, and fairness. Your key missions Analyze and assess files of beneficiaries presenting anomalies or suspicions of fraud, from the investigation of factual elements (resources, undeclared activities) and control the authenticity of documents; report investigations to management, or judicial procedures if applicable. Analyze, instruct and follow up on beneficiary files to evaluate benefit rights in respect of the principle of subsidiarity, detect potential abuses and assist users in their procedures and follow-up: issuing correspondence and decisions, addressing anomalies and task management, and routine activities related to the operation of the department. Draft and summarize detailed investigative reports, produced according to hierarchical instructions and supporting decisions or liability issues. Ensure communication and coordination with beneficiaries and internal and external partners, by conducting interviews, developing a network useful for investigations, and participating in discussions on files. Profile CFC in a field relevant to the function, complemented by a federal certificate as a police officer or specialist in insurance, and very good knowledge of social insurance, with at least 5 years of experience in managing files related to social insurance and conducting investigations. Knowledge of the legal framework for investigations, particularly the rights and duties of researchers. Knowledge of the socio-economic fabric of Vaud. Interest in the field of social assistance.
