As part of a reorganisation of the finance department, we are recruiting a:

Head of Management Control Department (100%) - Permanent Contract

Salary scale: 10 (this scale applies to validated prerequisites, otherwise classification is at level -1)

Location: Lausanne
Start date: As soon as possible

What you bring to our mission

You lead the team by providing guidance and support to ensure the quality of the management control services of the establishment. You propose and then develop a strategic direction regarding the organisation of the department, enabling efficient responses to EVAM's needs.

Your key responsibilities

  • You plan, organise, coordinate, and supervise the team’s activities in collaboration with other department heads within the entity, reporting to the hierarchical line and ensuring service continuity

  • You lead team meetings, thematic sessions, and practice exchange meetings as necessary

  • You prepare, verify, and finalise the pre-budget and annual budget

  • You establish monthly, quarterly, and annual budget monitoring

  • You participate in projects required by the activity in coordination with the various finance entity managers and the management

  • You contribute to formalising services by drafting processes, procedures, and guidelines, continuously improving and updating them, ensuring their application and compliance

  • You ensure the development of a culture of partnership and cohesion with other department heads within the entity

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree from a University of Applied Sciences (economics)

  • Training in management

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in a similar position

  • Excellent command of common office software tools

  • Excellent organisational and priority management skills

  • Analytical and synthesis skills

  • Strong communication and writing skills

  • Ability to manage and motivate a team
