As part of a reorganisation of the finance department, we are recruiting a:
Head of Accounting Department (100%) - Permanent Contract
Salary scale: 10 (this scale applies to validated prerequisites, otherwise classification is at level -1)
Location: Lausanne
Start date: As soon as possible
What you bring to our mission
Lead the team by providing supervision and support to ensure the quality of services related to the management of the establishment's accounts. Propose and then develop a strategic direction in terms of department organisation, enabling efficient response to EVAM's needs.
Your key responsibilities
You plan, organise, coordinate and supervise the team’s activities in collaboration with other department heads of the entity, reporting to the hierarchical line
You verify, consolidate and analyse financial statements
You ensure proper account keeping, budget preparation and monitoring, as well as coordination of quarterly closings
You participate in formalising services by drafting processes, procedures and guidelines, their continuous improvement and updating, ensuring their application and compliance

You supervise, coordinate and guarantee activities related to accounting management
You foster the development of a culture of partnership and cohesion with other department heads of the entity
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree from a University of Applied Sciences (economics)
Certified management training
Minimum 6 years’ experience in a similar position
Excellent command of common office software
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
Analytical and synthesis skills
Strong communication and writing skills
Ability to manage and motivate a team
