For our client, an industrial company based in Geneva, we are looking for a Certified Accountant to strengthen their finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of general accounting and actively participate in closings as well as the improvement of financial processes.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

- Ensure the maintenance of general accounting up to closing
- Manage routine accounting entries, provisions, depreciations and adjustment operations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with Swiss tax obligations
- Perform reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Ensure bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring

We are looking for a person with:

- Federal diploma as a specialist in finance and accounting
- Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting in Switzerland
- Experience within an industrial environment
- Excellent knowledge of Swiss accounting, VAT and accounting closings
- Knowledge of English is an advantage
- Autonomous, organised, rigorous and proactive personality
- Excellent analytical skills, sense of responsibility and team spirit
