Responsibilities:
- Within our kitchen located in Crissier, you ensure the preparation of meals for school canteens and nurseries.
- You develop and cook meals in accordance with the Croq-Midi quality charter, the culinary production plan as well as food hygiene and safety rules, and ensure delivery deadlines are met.

- Knowledge and skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently with rigour.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Sense of priorities, precision and responsiveness.
- Knowledge of meal production techniques, preferably in collective catering.
- Knowledge of culinary, pastry and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of preservation and packaging rules.
- Knowledge of food weighing and dosing.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation techniques.
- Knowledge of basic cooking recipes.
- Knowledge of stock management rules.
- Knowledge and mastery of hygiene and safety regulations.
- Good mastery of handling gestures and postures.
- Good mastery of maintenance and cleaning techniques for equipment, facilities and premises.
Main tasks:
- Ensure the mise en place of hot and cold dishes with the team of cooks.
- Prepare and carry out the cooking of fish and meats.
- Prepare sauces, vegetables and starches.
- Ensure optimal use of raw materials, presentation, taste and quality.
- Receive and check goods and stocks in storage and cold rooms.
- Ensure the application of food hygiene and safety rules.
- Ensure the maintenance and cleaning of the workstation, equipment or kitchen, and utensils.
