We are at home throughout Europe and always close to our customers.Senior Oracle / SQL Server (f/m/d)Be your best with BechtleOn behalf of our banking client based in Geneva, we are looking for a Senior Oracle / SQL Server DBA responsible for ensuring the maintenance and evolution of critical database environments.Mission- Manage security patch campaigns on Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases, from planning to execution, while ensuring reporting and compliance monitoring.- Monitor vulnerabilities related to databases, coordinate remediation actions, and ensure risk resolution within defined deadlines.- Design, develop, and maintain solutions to reduce manual tasks, standardize processes, and strengthen the resilience of systems.- Manage the database lifecycle, including provisioning, patching, upgrades, refreshes, backups, monitoring, recovery tests, and decommissioning.- Participate in production support and 24/7 on-call duty, intervene on critical incidents, and contribute to service continuity on on-premise and cloud environments.Profile- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent field, with at least 5 years of experience in database administration in critical environments.- Excellent command of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, with confirmed experience in high-volume environments with high availability requirements.- Solid skills in scripting, architecture, performance tuning, and database security.- Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Azure environments; experience with Oracle RAC and Oracle Data Guard is a significant asset.- Ability to analyze and resolve complex incidents, sense of rigor, and ease in managing priorities in a demanding context.- Fluent French and English, good team spirit, ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and availability to participate in 24/7 on-call duty.Our proposal- Advantageous working conditions: 6 weeks of vacation per year and a comprehensive pension plan.- Development and enhancement of potential: wide range of professional and personal training offered by the Bechtle Academy.- Diversity: interesting and changing tasks in a future-oriented sector.Bechtle Suisse SABechtle Suisse SA has certified skills in the following areas: IT Infrastructure, Modern Workplace, Managed Services, Skills Management, Analytics, Printing Solutions, and E-Commerce.
