What you can contribute to
- Carry out the harmonisation of the results of the main GDP approach ("production" approach)
- Bilateral agreements with the EU: ensure compliance and quality of the methods used in measuring economic growth and deflation
- Maintain and develop the national accounts database using the R programming language
- Actively participate in expert groups at national and international levels, and represent the FSO at international organisations
What makes you unique
- Master's degree in economics
- Very good knowledge and experience in economic data analysis and proficiency in common statistical software (EXCEL, R)
- Strong editorial skills
- Initiative, sense of responsibility, analytical mind, efficiency at work
- Ability to understand complex problems and present them clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Active knowledge of two official languages and very good knowledge of English

The Federal Statistical Office (FSO) is the competence centre for public statistics and the main actor in the Swiss data ecosystem. It produces statistical information, works towards data harmonisation through national data management, and develops processes based on data science to advance data interpretation.
