What you can contribute to
- Develop strategies, tools and framework conditions in the field of risk management related to native and exotic insects threatening the forest
- Collaboration within the Federal Plant Protection Service
- Develop and implement the national strategy for forest reproductive material
- Participate in national and international bodies
- Collaborate with the cantons, research and practice
- Initiate and lead research projects and others
What makes you unique
- University degree in forestry or environmental sciences or equivalent training, additional training and experience in the field of forest protection and health or forest reproductive material
- Several years of practical experience in the aforementioned fields
- Good knowledge of interactions within ecosystems, silviculture and forest pests
- Experience in the practical execution of tasks within a canton is an advantage
- Proven experience in project management
- Good active knowledge of at least one other official language and, if possible, knowledge of a third official language. Good active knowledge of English
