The School of Engineering of HES-SO Valais-Wallis is offering a position at its Industrial Systems institute for a:

Scientific Collaborator HES (100%)

for activities related to the Smart Process Lab (https://spl.hevs.io)

Your mission

• Design and implementation of applied research and development (Ra&D) activities within the Smart Process Lab

• Active participation and research in project calls

• Preparation of scientific documentation related to the activity

• Support for student education

• Participation in developing relationships with industrial and scientific communities in collaboration with the School management and especially the institute to which they belong

Your profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or equivalent

• Very good programming skills (Python, C/C++, Rust)

• Autonomy but good ability to work in a team and liaise with industrial partners

• Native French or German speaker with good knowledge of the second language as well as English

• Knowledge in embedded systems is an asset

• Knowledge in data science is an asset
