Prototype Industrialisation Manager (M/F)
Mission
Within this role, attached to our Development & Industrialisation Department, you will be responsible for analysing the feasibility and manufacturing of prototypes (dials and appliqués) with a view to their future industrialisation.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with the Creation department to establish dial prototype requests.
- Participate in defining production processes, feasibility studies and prepare production files.
- Be the guarantor of the base data created in the ERP & PLM (routings, bills of materials, technical criteria and other base data enabling prototype manufacturing).
- Define the means to be used for launching prototype manufacturing (fixtures, tooling, sub-assemblies, supplies, etc.).
- Coordinate the progress of work orders and orders during the product development phase.
- Be responsible for prototype validation by the Creation department (compliance of delivered products).
- Manage the manufacturing of each prototype in project mode, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (ERP base data, industrialisation manager, quality, logistics, production, prototype).
- Ensure the quality of all project deliverables according to standards.
- Organise and lead recurring project follow-up meetings and occasional technical sessions (development, production, quality, prototype, etc.).
- Provide regular reporting on project progress to internal clients and/or the PMO.
Profile sought
- Engineering degree in mechanical or micromechanics or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in a similar position, ideally in the high-end dial sector.
- Project management skills.
- Very good knowledge of manufacturing methods.
- Knowledge of CAD (ideally Solidworks) and base data.
- Good knowledge of quality tools (8D, SPC, etc.).
- Proficiency in office tools (MS Office) and good use of an ERP.
- Analytical skills and critical thinking.
- Ability to communicate concisely and effectively.
- Diplomacy and team spirit.
- Ability to coordinate and unite.
- Strong listening skills, client and solution orientation.
