Samuel Stauffer SA, exclusive distributor of Landini and McCormick tractor brands for Switzerland and numerous agricultural machinery brands, is looking for its branch in Avenches for a:Head MechanicYour profile- You possess a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) as an agricultural machinery mechanic or an equivalent qualification (a federal professional certificate is a major asset).- You have confirmed experience as an agricultural machinery mechanic.- Experience in team management is a major asset.- You know how to manage priorities and organize schedules.- You are dynamic, responsible, and comfortable with clients.- You have a good command of tasks.Responsibilities- Organize the overall activity of the workshop.- Plan interventions and manage daily priorities.- Supervise the team of mechanics to guarantee excellent service.- Train apprentice mechanics.- Advise clients.As head mechanic and site manager, you will benefit from great independence and will contribute to the development of the activity and to enhancing the value of the Avenches site. You will establish a relationship of trust with the clientele. You will be required to make small on-site sales from the store (general supplies, small machines, etc.) and you will also have close collaboration with the sales advisor for your sector. You will manage a small team of mechanics, including apprentices.
