MECHANICAL PRODUCT LINE MANAGER (M/F)



Mission:

  • As Mechanical Product Line Manager, you oversee the product line throughout the entire development cycle, aiming to ensure technically controlled, competitive solutions that comply with industrial, regulatory and market requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the development and maintenance of the product line to meet customer needs while satisfying economic, industrial and regulatory requirements
  • Develop, initiate and actively follow study requests and modification requests allowing continuous product improvement
  • Based on specifications, manage allocated projects with budget tracking, profitability (ROI) and scheduling
  • Organise, coordinate and unite multidisciplinary teams, while ensuring hierarchical responsibility and the development of the skills of product line staff
  • Define technical solutions and supervise their design, from prototype development and certification to production transfer
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the resolution of technical issues related to production and market feedback
  • Guarantee product compliance with regulatory and normative standards by ensuring documentation and technical coherence
  • Monitor, capture and transfer new technologies into development projects

Skills:

  • Engineering degree HES/EPF, ES technician or equivalent, with at least 3 years proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong expertise in microtechnology and machine elements. Good knowledge of electric motors and plastics is an asset
  • Proven experience in managing industrial projects, including budget management, meeting deadlines and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of design tools as well as PLM and ERP programmes
  • Comfortable in a highly regulated and quality-oriented environment, with expertise in continuous improvement and optimisation
  • Natural leadership, excellent communication skills and interpersonal ease, both internally and externally
  • Structured, rigorous and autonomous mindset, with a strong sense of organisation and teamwork
  • Natural curiosity, pragmatic approach, synthesis skills and ability to propose solutions
  • Good knowledge of technical English (any other language is an asset)
