MECHANICAL MANAGER (M/F)



Tasks:

As mechanical manager, you lead a versatile team of multi-skilled mechanics and toolmakers who are passionate and actively participate in the creation of industrialisation and production means as well as prototypes that will shape the products of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure individual and collective management of the team (training, communication, active listening, recognition of successes, development of initiative spirit)
  • Meet the objectives defined by the manager by ensuring deadlines and expected quality requirements are respected
  • Plan, monitor and produce prototypes, tooling and industrialisation means for Bien-Air products, in collaboration with mechanical development engineers, process engineers and process industrialisation mechanics. Subcontract production if necessary
  • Participate in defining specifications and designing prototypes, tooling and industrialisation means
  • Ensure 3D and 2D CAD updates of small internal equipment
  • Perform quality control (dimensional and functional) of subcontracted industrialisation means
  • Manage procurement and stock of tools, supplies, components and measuring equipment necessary for the mechanical workshop
  • Improve and maintain existing industrialisation means, in collaboration with relevant departments
  • Actively participate in work execution (conventional and CNC machining, assembly, control, marking, packaging) in the mechanical workshop
  • Define needs and be responsible for machines and equipment necessary for the proper functioning of the department
  • Collaborate on the industrialisation of prototypes on production equipment in manufacturing
  • Test and integrate new technologies for the development of Bien-Air products
  • Ensure order and discipline at the workplace, as well as compliance with safety directives, to prevent accidents
  • Collaborate on the execution, implementation and monitoring of the Quality System within the team

Skills:

  • Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as multi-skilled mechanic or micromechanic
  • Mastery of machining processes (conventional and CNC, including 5-axis machining)
  • Knowledge of CAM programming software (e.g. GibbsCam)
  • Proven experience in team management
  • Team spirit, natural leadership and ability to unite
  • Autonomy, rigour and "solution" orientation
