For one of our clients in the canton of Vaud we are looking for several qualified Sterilisation Technical Assistants and Auxiliaries.
Duration of the assignment: 3 months renewable
Hours: Monday to Friday
5am - 2pm
or
12:30pm - 9:30pm
Rate: 100%
Vehicle required (free parking)
Your mission:
As a key player in the medical device circuit, you will be involved in the entire reprocessing process:
- Ensure the decontamination, washing and packaging of medical devices from the operating theatre and care units
- Operate the autoclaves and specific equipment of the sterilisation department
- Ensure strict compliance with current protocols and standards
- Train, support and raise awareness among teams on best practices
- Provide your technical expertise and act as a key contact for internal services and external partners
Your profile:
You are rigorous, committed and wish to develop in a demanding environment where precision is essential:
- Training as a sterilisation technical assistant (level 1 or 2)
- If no diploma: proven experience in sterilisation and washing of medical devices
- Good knowledge of the operating theatre and/or care environment
- Proficiency in French (minimum B2 level)
- Strong sense of responsibility and respect for procedures
- Organisation, rigour and team spirit
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate information clearly
- Ability to work in a structured and demanding environment
Your working conditions:
- Variable hours: day, evening, weekends and public holidays
- Mandatory wearing of personal protective equipment (coverall, hairnet, mask, gloves)
- Technical environment requiring constant vigilance and precision
