In Thal, dedicated teams with high expertise ensure the smooth operation of our meat processing facilities. To strengthen our maintenance team, we are looking for a motivated, practical-minded individual for day shifts.

What you will achieve

• You ensure the technical availability of production, infrastructure, and energy supply systems.
• You carry out mechanical maintenance, servicing, and repair work on machines and equipment.
• You systematically analyse faults, resolve them sustainably, and support a low-disruption production.
• You actively participate in technical projects as well as in optimisations and improvements in operations.
• You identify weaknesses in the plant environment and implement measures to increase availability.
• You foster open communication and inform the responsible parties promptly in case of major outages.

What you bring

• Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
• Field: Mechanical area
• Professional experience: Ideally, you have 3 to 5 years of practical experience in maintenance within a production environment and can prioritise tasks as well as work efficiently and independently under pressure.
• You have technical understanding as well as knowledge of machines, equipment, and material properties.
• Ideally, you hold a permit according to NIV 13 or NIV 15 as well as a category B driving licence and also possess good MS Office skills.
• You work in a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented manner and are familiar with the safe use of various measuring and working devices.
• You work responsibly, team-oriented, and consistently adhere to safety, hygiene, and operational regulations.
• You are willing to work day shifts generally from 09:00 to about 18:30, perform on-call duties as planned, and occasionally take weekend shifts by arrangement.
