HYDRO Exploitation SA is an important service provider, particularly active in the operation and maintenance of power generation plants. We bring together all the necessary skills under one roof, from maintenance personnel to engineering.

We operate and maintain a portfolio of more than 40 hydropower plants. Their installed capacity corresponds to approximately 22% of the hydropower capacity available in Switzerland (25% including the pumping stations). Together, the plants we operate generate about 16% of Switzerland's hydropower electricity.

Mechanic, Maintenance Specialist

Workplace : Zermatt

Your Mission :

As a specialist in a multidisciplinary team, you will independently carry out maintenance work on mechanical equipment at several hydropower plants.

Your Tasks :

• Perform maintenance and ongoing servicing work at several hydropower plants
• Participate in the maintenance and renewal of machines and mechanical systems
• Dismantle and install hydroelectric units for annual maintenance or machine renewals, mainly for the mechanical but also the electrical parts
• Ensure on-call duty

Your Skills :

• Federal VET Diploma as a polymechanic, mechanic, locksmith or equivalent qualification
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial machinery (experience in hydropower is an advantage)
• Welding experience with certification for unalloyed and stainless steels would be an advantage
• Sense of responsibility
• Willingness to work in a team and mobility
• Ability to handle workload fluctuations
