Receptionist (M/F)

To complete our team, we are looking for a:

Receptionist (M/F)
Workplace : Hôtel Palafitte
Start date : 01-08-2026
Contract type : Permanent contract

Responsibilities
  • You manage customer requests before, during and after their stay

  • You handle guest reception according to established procedures

  • You supervise the management of emails, phone calls and bookings outside office hours

  • You oversee invoicing, cash management and client cardex follow-up

  • You establish active collaboration with internal departments and the reservation service in Lausanne

  • You handle complaints according to the defined procedure

  • You supervise the sale of hotel services, products and points of sale

  • You monitor cultural events in Neuchâtel and its surroundings to inform guests


Profile sought
  • You communicate fluently in French and English, and conduct exchanges in German professionally

  • You manage your work with organisation, rigour and attention to detail

  • You build excellent relationships through team spirit and communication skills

  • You handle stress effectively and demonstrate curiosity and adaptability

  • You supervise the use of PMS software (Opera Cloud an asset) and mastery of the Office Suite

  • You apply your knowledge of accounting and sales techniques to support your tasks
