A key player in public utility housing in French-speaking Switzerland, the Lausanne Housing Cooperative Society (SCHL) is committed to a sustainable and dedicated mission, serving quality and affordable housing.

As part of the evolution of its management model and its development ambitions, SCHL has exclusively mandated us to recruit a Property Management Manager to take responsibility for the department and support its development.

Missions

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Management, your main responsibilities are:

  • Manage the Property Management department, composed of about twenty people (Property Managers, Management Assistants and support functions): Supervision, skills development.
  • Ensure the proper management of SCHL's property portfolio (around 150 buildings - subsidised and cooperative housing)
  • Ensure the strategic and operational steering of the management
  • Define and monitor the department's budget, in collaboration with the Finance Department.
  • Seek and acquire new mandates for property management or administration of non-profit organisations
  • Maintain regular contacts with all partners, associative circles (ARMOUP, USPI, ASLOCA, etc.), other cooperatives, private or state organisations (OFL and CCL), cantonal and municipal services, political figures active in the housing sector
  • Organise and lead tenant meetings
  • Guarantee the quality and consistency of the services provided
  • Participate in the cooperative's key decisions

Comfortable in small-scale environments, you know how to combine framework, flexibility and interpersonal intelligence.
