On behalf of a precision mechanics and micromechanics workshop recognised in Geneva, to lead and develop a high value-added CNC machining sector.

In a demanding technical environment, focused on quality and precision, you will play a key role in the operational, technical and human management of the workshop.

We are looking for a :



Micromechanics Workshop Manager M/F



Responsibilities

  • Manage, supervise and optimise a CNC machining / micromechanics workshop

  • Ensure compliance with production schedules, taking into account priorities and technical constraints

  • Provide technical support for the workshop:

    • Definition, implementation and monitoring of machining processes

    • Technical interface with clients and suppliers

  • Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects (process, organisation, performance)

  • Provide regular reporting to production management

  • Unite teams around common goals, with a focus on quality and sustainable performance


Profile

  • Technical training in micromechanics, machining or production engineering (CFC, ES or equivalent)

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in operational management of a CNC machining workshop, in precision mechanics and/or micromechanics

  • Excellent mastery of:

    • CNC machines

    • Programming tools (GO2cam or equivalent)

    • Electrical discharge machining (EDM) manufacturing processes

  • Good knowledge of SolidWorks

  • Strong hands-on approach, natural leadership and ability to mobilise teams

  • Excellent communication skills, responsiveness and decision-making in a demanding environment
