What you will achieve
- You take on the assembly, maintenance, and servicing of mechanical systems and equipment.
- You independently and professionally carry out repairs as well as preventive maintenance work.
- You analyse faults in mechanical assemblies, rectify errors, and support smooth production operations.
- You replace mechanical components, align them, and adjust them precisely.
- You confidently read technical drawings, parts lists, and assembly plans and implement them in practice.
- You carefully document work, maintenance, and repairs and ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
- You actively participate in the commissioning of a new production building and support the assembly, alignment, and adjustment of production systems, machines, and conveyor technology.
What you bring
- Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
- Specialisation: as a mechanic, polymechanic, production mechanic, or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience: Ideally, you bring several years of professional experience in an industrial or production environment.
- You have experience or knowledge in the commissioning of industrial plants or new buildings as well as in handling production and conveyor systems.
- You possess solid knowledge in mechanics, mechanical engineering, and maintenance as well as basic knowledge in pneumatics and hydraulics.
- You are familiar with the relevant Swiss regulations and guidelines, especially SUVA, EKAS, and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (CH-compliant).
- You work independently, in a structured and reliable manner, have a high safety awareness, and communicate clearly within the team.
- Ideally, you hold a category B driving licence and are willing to be on call.
