Accounting Manager 100%The Translait Group, consisting of the companies Translait, Univo, and Milco, is active in the fields of transport, processing, and utilization of milk and dairy by-products, as well as in calf rearing. As part of a succession planning due to retirement, we are looking for a committed and responsible person for the position of Accounting Manager 100%In this role, reporting directly to the CFO, you will take overall responsibility for the accounting of all companies within the Group, with the support of a small team. This position offers you the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of the company; it requires a method of working oriented towards continuous improvement and optimization.Responsibilities:- Responsibility for the financial and auxiliary accounting of the group companies, including team management- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ready for audit in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO) (including VAT and direct taxes)- Ensuring liquidity and payment management, as well as budget maintenance in collaboration with the CFO and controlling, and variance analysis- Development of the internal control system (ICS) and accounting processes, especially in cooperation with external auditors and authorities- Financial analyses and reporting for management and department heads (in collaboration with the CFO and controlling)- Participation in cross-departmental projects and deputizing in payroll accountingYour profile:- Federal diploma in finance and accounting, Bachelor’s in business administration with a focus on accounting & controlling or equivalent- Professional experience in a similar role, ideally in an SME- Solid knowledge of Swiss accounting and VAT- Strong affinity for IT tools (ERP systems, very good Excel skills)- Independent, structured, and precise working method with a strong sense of responsibility- Team-oriented personality and good communication skills- Good French language skills required, good knowledge of German is an advantageWe offer:- A rich and responsible position within a dynamic team, in a stimulating environment within a food company, offering a high degree of autonomy- Start Date: To be agreed- Location: Corminboeuf (Fribourg)Please send us your complete application documents (CV, cover letter, and work certificates).
