Specialized Case Manager Job Description As a specialized case manager within the Cantonal Physician's Office (OMC), you issue approvals (AP) for regulated medical and healthcare professions, admission for health insurance (AOS), and their amendments. Responsibilities Analyze and process simple and/or complex requests received (check that the file is complete, verify the conformity of documents with legal requirements and consult other entities/services if necessary) and make decisions regarding the granting or refusal of approvals, taking into account the current legal bases. Edit and/or issue admissions, write simple accompanying notes and prepare documents for the head of the department (CDSAS), the cantonal doctor, and the head of the specific sectors (outside EU/EFTA, replacement, etc.), including conduct records, acquired rights, 90 days, C number, etc., and records of receipts. Perform necessary checks to ensure the conformity of the presented documents and required requests; establish official documents and issue them in compliance with the legal framework. Provide information by phone, in person, and by email to users of the sector (health professionals, institutions, etc.) about procedures and the follow-up of cases. Profile Required: Training as a commercial employee or a title deemed equivalent, ideally complemented by training in the health field. Professional experience of at least 2 years, ideally in a role related to the health sector or within a public institution. Ease of teamwork and ability to work autonomously. Analytical and synthesis mindset, rigor in case follow-up. Excellent interpersonal skills and priority management. Proven writing skills and mastery of common tools.
