? Who are we?

Garage du Rocher is much more than a traditional garage. Established in Venthône for over 20 years, our modern and growing business offers a comprehensive range: sales of new and used vehicles of all brands, official JAC and ISUZU dealerships, maintenance and repairs, car detailing, storage, petrol station and automatic car wash.

Our workshop is equipped with the latest technologies (diagnostics, HD geometry, decarbonisation, matrix light adjustment…) and our roof with 149 photovoltaic panels demonstrates our commitment to a sustainable future. Rare in the industry: our premises are fully air-conditioned, including the workshop — a real comfort for working in all seasons.

We are a team of about fifteen passionate and committed people, and we are looking for our new technical pillar.

? Your role

Under the responsibility of Mathias Perren, the director, you will take charge of the organisational, administrative, technical and human management of the workshop. You are the person the whole team can rely on: rigorous, present, organised and proud of a job well done. To facilitate your onboarding, you will be supported by our current workshop manager, who will guide you through the workshop’s operations and its specificities. This support is designed to last as long as necessary, with, in the medium term, full and autonomous management of the workshop by you.

? Your tasks

? Workshop management & organisation

Plan, organise and supervise all work

Ensure cleanliness, tidiness and proper maintenance of premises and equipment

Control the quality of interventions and ensure their follow-up

? Technical support & expertise

Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics

Be responsible for the workshop’s technical decisions, with the support of our current workshop manager during your onboarding

Intervene on high value-added work, leveraging your expertise

Manage warranty files and their entry into brand systems

? Management of the technical team

Supervise, motivate and coordinate the technical team, about 6 technicians

Oversee the employee responsible for the workshop’s administrative follow-up

Manage priorities and plan daily tasks

Implement a clear and efficient organisation of the workshop

? Customer satisfaction

Welcome and advise customers on the work to be done

Be the technical contact for customers on issues that reception cannot handle (suspicious noises, specific investigations, technical explanations)

Ensure rigorous follow-up of files and guarantee a high level of satisfaction

? Administration & coordination

Supervise the management of repair orders and parts orders, delegated daily to your administrative colleague

Ensure workshop invoicing

Collaborate with management for reporting and objectives

? Your profile

Automotive mechanic federal certificate of competence (CFC) — essential

A mechatronics automotive CFC is also an asset

Additional training in management, team leadership or master craftsman’s diploma — a major advantage

Proven experience in a managerial position

Natural leadership, ability to unite and develop a team

Organised, rigorous, reliable and autonomous

Solution-oriented, proactive

Comfortable with IT tools

Category B driving licence

Fluent French — German and/or English: an asset
