Trust Accountant 80-100% Permanent Contract (M/F/D)

Responsibilities

• Ensure the complete management of accounting assignments for a diverse clientele
• Prepare and manage VAT returns as well as various social charges
• Advise and support clients on routine accounting and tax matters
• Carry out payroll processing and ensure administrative follow-up related to remuneration
• Maintain general ledgers up to monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Prepare tax declarations for individuals and legal entities
• Check, post and reconcile accounting documents

Profile

• Commercial employee federal certificate of competence (CFC), ideally obtained in a trust company; higher education in finance and accounting is an asset
• Proven experience of at least 3 years within a trust company in Switzerland
• Excellent knowledge of Swiss taxation and current accounting practices
• Proficiency in IT tools and common industry software
• Analytical mind, organisational skills and great professional rigour
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Fluency in French; any other language is an advantage
