Sontex is a prosperous and rapidly expanding SME active in the development and manufacture of systems for measuring thermal energy, headquartered in the Biel region. For 37 years, we have been developing, producing and distributing precise devices used to record energy consumption. We help our customers use energy resources efficiently and save them. Our national and international clientele is active in the field of building technology and automation. Due to a retirement, we are looking for a:

Your main tasks

• Create and follow up purchase orders
• Establish and follow up requests for information (RFI) and requests for quotation (RFQ) with suppliers
• Ensure deadline monitoring and reminders
• Negotiate prices, deadlines and supplier conditions
• Manage subcontracting operations and all logistical aspects, including transport
• Follow up supplier complaints and ensure corrective actions with the SQA Manager
• Handle supplier billing discrepancies and credit notes
• Participate in the selection of new suppliers
• Communicate with suppliers on technical aspects

Your profile

• Commercial employee CFC complemented by a technical diploma or technical CFC complemented by a purchasing assistant certificate (procure.ch)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical purchasing or industrial supply
• Good knowledge of electronic components; technical knowledge is an asset
• Knowledge of the requirements of an ISO 9001 quality management system
• Good command of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience using an ERP; knowledge of Proalpha is an asset
• Languages: Very good command of French and English; basic knowledge of German
• Proactive personality, open to change and motivated to evolve in a dynamic technical environment
• Good interpersonal skills, team spirit and ability to collaborate in a versatile manner with good analytical and prioritisation skills
