We are looking, as part of an exclusive mandate, for our client, an industrial company established in Switzerland, active in complex technical projects with high added value.In the context of strengthening its function, we are looking for a Technical Buyer with solid experience in a demanding industrial environment.You will operate within a scope in close connection with the technical, project, and sales teams.RoleYou will operate within a scope covering several product families and your mission consists of securing supplies under the best technical and commercial conditions, while supporting the company's development projects.At the interface between technical teams, projects, sales, and suppliers, you are a central actor in the value chain. You analyze needs, anticipate risks, and propose adapted solutions, in a logic of sustainable partnership with suppliers.In this function, you are at the heart of exchanges between internal and external stakeholders. Your daily life is made of analyses, decisions, and technical discussions, with a constant objective: to guarantee reliable, controlled, and optimized supplies.- You start by understanding the needs. Those resulting from net requirements calculation, those carried by project teams, or those expressed directly by technical and sales teams. You challenge them, clarify them, and translate them into coherent solutions, both technically and commercially.- You are in regular contact with your suppliers. You exchange, negotiate, secure. You build sustainable partnerships, without losing sight of quality, deadline, and cost requirements. When the situation requires it, you go into the field, to the supplier, to anticipate risks or resolve specific points.- You intervene very early in projects. Alongside the Technical Office, you contribute to reflections, participate in the definition of specifications, and identify partners capable of supporting new developments. Your knowledge of the market and supplier capabilities feeds strategic decisions.- You follow orders, monitor deliveries, and treat discrepancies when they appear. Non-conformities, delays, technical adjustments: you take on subjects directly and coordinate the necessary actions until their resolution.- Finally, you remain on the lookout. You observe market developments, visit suppliers, participate in specialized trade fairs, and feed the company with new ideas, new solutions, and new opportunities.ProfileThis position is aimed at a professional with a solid technical foundation, supplemented by confirmed experience in purchasing.- You come from a technical background (CFC or equivalent), ideally enriched by further training in project management or engineering.- You justify experience (approx. 10 years) in a similar role, within a demanding industrial environment.- You are comfortable with reading plans, technical exchanges with design offices, and negotiation with demanding suppliers.- Organized, rigorous, and proactive, you know how to manage your priorities and evolve in close collaboration with other departments.- Your posture is that of a confirmed professional, solution-oriented, and committed to the search for the best overall performance.LanguagesFrench fluentTechnical English essentialGerman: an asset appreciated jid40f6cb9aen jit0624aen jpiy26aen
