HES-SO Valais-Wallis trains X students and contributes, through research, to economic and social development as well as job creation. The School of Social Work develops and conveys knowledge of social work in collaboration with private and public partners in Valais and beyond. It offers innovative solutions to the complexities of today's society and contributes to the emergence of societal issues of tomorrow. Join us! In order to strengthen teaching and research on intervention methods in social services, the School of Social Work, composed of a HES program, two ES programs, and an institute, is opening a position for a Teaching Master (70%) Your mission: - Provide teachings in the Bachelor program in Social Work, ES, and continuing education.- Ensure teaching in the Social Services option and within the fundamental modules, particularly those dedicated to intervention methods in social services.- Support students in the development of their work or as X mentor in the X Academy program.- Maintain and develop regular links with the professional milieu of social services.- Participate in institutional activities and the development of the School of Social Work. Profile: - Master’s degree in social work or equivalent. - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field of social work, particularly in social services, acquired as a social worker or assistant.- Experience in adult education is considered an asset within the Valais social network.- Excellent command of French or German with good knowledge of the second language (min. B2).
