Eben-Hézer Lausanne is part of the Eben-Hézer Foundation, a private, non-profit organization recognized as being of public interest. To complete the SAGITTAIRE team, a living space for 7 residents with intellectual disabilities with or without associated disorders, we are looking for a qualified social educator at an activity rate of 50%, for a 9-month fixed-term contract.MissionYou contribute to the well-being of the residents, ensure them the greatest possible autonomy in their journey, and provide a living environment that meets their needs and desires. You guarantee daily support. You aim for the development and maintenance of their skills; you support them in their social and institutional integration. This mission is carried out within a multidisciplinary team and in active collaboration with the social network.Responsibilities- Design and implement individual support and develop strategies adapted to the different needs of the residents (intellectual disability with or without associated disorders).- Work in an interdisciplinary manner to respond to complex and heterogeneous situations.- Encourage the involvement of the family and loved ones of the resident in the development and monitoring of their individual project.- Actively collaborate with internal and external networks.- Participate in the choice, implementation, and organization of relaxation and leisure activities.- Ensure tasks related to the residents and the team.Desired Profile- Diploma (CFC, ES, or HES) in specialized education.- Experience in supporting people with intellectual disabilities with or without associated disorders.- Interest in individualized support and the regular organization of activities.- Marked enthusiasm for the development of new actions and interest in diversifying skills.- Ease in working and communicating within a team, in sharing tasks.- Driving license B.Working ConditionsWe offer the possibility of participating in the development of a major institution, taking on challenges, and, through continuous training, developing your skills.- Conditions according to the CCT in the parapublic social sector.- Fixed-term contract of 9 months: from September 1st to May 31st.- Irregular hours, weekend work according to the schedule.- Start date: September 1st.Has this aroused your interest?Insofar as all our applications are processed electronically, we thank you for applying exclusively via the website.
