What you can contribute

• process coverage requests according to the Federal Health Insurance Act (LAMal) and prepare files and reports for deliberations within the Federal Commission for General Benefits and Principles (CFPP), focusing on the evaluation of diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive services across the entire medical field
• develop regulations concerning the obligation to cover services based on CFPP recommendations
• handle parliamentary affairs and questions related to the specialised field
• lead projects and working groups, participate in expert groups and represent the office in your area of expertise

What makes you unique

• physician holding a master’s degree in public health or having completed postgraduate training in scientific methods for health technology assessment (HTA), practical experience in medicine and/or research and ideally experience in HTA
• good knowledge of the healthcare system and social insurance in Switzerland
• enthusiasm for working in different areas and with new methods, quick-wittedness, team spirit, ability to work independently and systematically with a critical mind
• good ability to process and present scientific information according to target groups
• good active knowledge of two official languages, good level of English and, if possible, passive knowledge of the third
