For its Infrastructure and Mobility Service, the Municipality of Mont-sur-Lausanne is advertising a position of :

Road Worker / Mechanic at 100%

Main tasks :

• Maintenance work of public areas, snow clearance, waste management, etc.
• Manage and maintain the fleet of vehicles and machines (lawnmower, brush cutter, chainsaw, etc.).
• Carry out inspection, maintenance and repair work on all types of vehicles, machines as well as fixed installations and devices used by tractors, sweepers; salt spreaders, lawnmowers, etc.
• Investigate the causes of breakdowns and malfunctions, replace defective or worn mechanical parts, electrical or electronic components, using the resources provided. This is to maintain excellent vehicle operating condition and ensure maximum safety for its occupants and users.

Your profile :

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) preferably in agricultural mechanics or an equivalent qualification;
• Recognised experience in the field (5 years);
• Holder of a category B driving licence;
• Holder of a forklift, tractor, and construction machinery driving licence;
• Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in manual work and road maintenance;
• Autonomous use of common computer tools;
• Fluency in French;
• Resident within the municipal area or within a 15-minute radius.
