Recognized as X of skills within the framework of the Law on Specialized Pedagogy, the CPHV promotes the inclusion of people with visual impairments in Romandy. It is part of the Asylum for the Blind, founded in Lausanne, which includes the Jules-Gonin Ophthalmic Hospital in Lausanne, the social and low vision services, the research center for visual sciences, and the EMS Clair-Soleil in Ecublens, a medico-social establishment specially adapted for seniors. 670 professionals mobilize every day to serve visual health by offering diagnosis, treatment, and support to people. To complete our team, we are looking for a Specialized Itinerant Teacher. Your mission:Ensure and guarantee the provision of adapted pedagogical means from 1H to 11H, with the support of a transcription service: enlargements, documents or in braille. Encourage and promote the use of these means. Work closely with classroom teachers. Keep a logbook and establish an annual report for each student. Participate in the network involving regular school professionals and various specialists (occupational therapists, mobility, activities of daily living, functional vision specialists, ophthalmologists, and support for teachers).Your qualifications in specialized teaching (acquired or ongoing); obtaining a Master’s degree is required for the practice of this specialized teaching initial (HEP), specialized (HES) or Master in pedagogy or psychology, followed by a complementary program leading to the diploma X specialized teaching (recognized by the Conference of Directors of Public Education – CDIP) in employment from HEP. Willingness to develop and keep updated your specific professional knowledge and skills necessary for your function through continuing education. Ease with usual tools. Sense of organization and flexibility, ability to work autonomously. Sense of responsibility and ability to manage complex situations. Enjoyment in collaborating with professionals from diverse backgrounds. Professional ethics. Language: French.
