Medical Assistant for our Clinic of La Source is a unique multidisciplinary acute care facility. It belongs to La Source, an independent and private non-profit institution that also oversees the Health Institute and High School of La Source. We are looking for a Medical Assistant for our key position: Reference: CLS/RH/ / Type of contract: Permanent 100% / Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM at the earliest until 5:00 PM at the latest according to the schedule / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 X Riponne or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop Beaulieu-Jomini). Why do we need you? In the context of our activities, we are looking for a versatile medical assistant, active in the Sampling Center for the management of and involved within the activities. What will you be required to do? Ensure phone and face-to-face reception of patients (outpatients and hospitalized) with professionalism, verify the identity of patients and the conformity of medical prescriptions, perform blood draws (capillary and venous) as well as gasometry, with strict adherence to protocols, advise patients and provide instructions for non-blood samples, manage the pre-analytical phase: receipt, compliance check, registration of analysis requests and samples, record patient data and ensure follow-up of records, guarantee the quality, traceability, and routing of analyses, including those outsourced, manage non-conformities and ensure efficient communication with the relevant stakeholders, manage stocks, internal orders, and ensure the maintenance of the premises and equipment, participate in service tasks. Who will you be working with? The team consists of 30 collaborators who work every day to provide quality results to prescribers in a friendly atmosphere. In this position, you will be supervised by Marie, Head of the team, who is committed to maintaining a dynamic environment within the department. With several years of experience in the field of medical biology, she will help you evolve in your areas of interest and successfully carry out projects with the support of a united team and various collaborations. What do you need? The essentials: Hold a CFC as a medical assistant or an equivalent qualification, master blood draws (capillary and venous) in strict adherence to hygiene and safety protocols, rigorously apply pre-analytical procedures and ensure the quality and traceability of samples, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and establish a relationship of trust with patients, including in times of stress or apprehension, be comfortable with standard tools (Microsoft Office), show autonomy, reliability, and professional discretion, organize effectively, manage priorities, and show flexibility, actively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Your advantages: Have experience in a hospital or sampling center, know the requirements of ISO standards, master OPALE and/or MOLISS software, adapt with agility to unforeseen events and workload fluctuations, master French and have knowledge of another language.
