Legal CounselJob DescriptionThe Directorate General for Territory and Housing (DGTL) is in charge of land use planning (cantonal master plan, guidelines and projects for the cadastre and the cantonal geoportal), building permit procedures, and housing policy at the cantonal level.Join a team of seven legal experts passionate about law and land use planning. You will evolve in a dynamic work environment, equipped with modern and bright offices, as well as appreciable flexibility thanks to the possibility of teleworking.Responsibilities- Process illegal construction files, particularly outside building zones, from their analysis to the drafting of decisions- Collaborate closely with the parties concerned as well as with municipal authorities in the context of file monitoring- Ensure the legal security of land use planning schemes- Represent and defend the interests of the state in the context of appeal procedures- Provide legal opinions and transversal legal support in matters of land use planning- Advise state services and municipalities on legal issues falling within the field- Ensure legal and regulatory monitoring to guarantee the compliance of projects as well as federal and cantonal legislationFor further information, please consult the job description by clicking here.Profile- Complete degree in Swiss law (Bachelor and Master), with a university curriculum entirely completed in Switzerland- Professional experience in the field of land use planning- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills and ease of writing- Proactive and excellent aptitude for negotiation and teamwork- Capacity for flexibility and stress management- Global vision and sense of perspective- Knowledge of German (fluent reading required, spoken German is an asset)Only complete files will be considered: CV, cover letter, work certificates, and relevant diplomas for the position.Who are we?The Directorate General for Territory and Housing (DGTL) is composed of numerous professions that all have a link with the territory.
