As a place of forward-looking reflection, we create and transmit knowledge useful to the world of today and tomorrow - with seriousness, boldness, and flexibility.Laboratory TechnicianYour fields of activity with us- Advise and support students and researchers on questions related to laboratory work- Prepare course materials and experiments- Supervise group work and correct experiment reports and other assignments- Perform soil, water, and nutrient analyses- Measure various soil parameters in the field to determine CEC (cation exchange capacity)- Perform elemental analysis, maintenance of teaching laboratory equipment (chemistry, soil chemistry, soil physics)Your background- CFC as a chemistry laboratory technician, at least 5 years of professional experience or a degree in a field related to the position- Experience in the preparation of scientific experiments- Knowledge of GC-MS analysis- Keen sense of quality and responsibility, resistance to stress, and ability to work independently and as part of a team- French or German language, with good knowledge of the other languageSome of our advantages- We conduct research activities in collaboration with the industry- We develop solutions useful to the economy, culture, and society in general, on a regional, Swiss, and international level- It is an extremely interesting, but also demanding and enriching job.
