Metallurgy TechnicianYour mission:- Perform metallographic analyses and mechanical tests on various metals- Carry out hardness tests in accordance with current standards and procedures- Perform tensile tests and interpret results to verify the mechanical properties of materials- Prepare samples (cutting, embedding, polishing, chemical etching)- Perform compliance checks according to customer requirements and applicable standards- Analyze, interpret, and document test results in technical reports- Alert relevant departments in case of non-compliance or equipment failure- Perform first-level maintenance and metrological monitoring of laboratory equipment- Collaborate with production and quality teams for continuous improvement of processes and products- Respect safety procedures and good laboratory practicesProfessional skills:- CFC laboratory technician, ES technician, BTS/DUT, or equivalent qualification in the field of metallurgy or chemistry- Experience in a metallurgical laboratory or similar industrial environment- Knowledge of metallography, mechanical testing, and analysis techniques- Proficiency in standard tools (MS Office)- Proficiency in French (German and/or English would be an asset)Your personal and social skills:- Rigorous, analytical mind, and sense of responsibility- Ability to work autonomously while favoring collaboration within a team- Field-oriented, organized, and methodical person, able to withstand stress- Writing skillsWe offer:- Advantageous social conditions based on the MEM collective agreement- A multicultural and exciting work environment- A challenge within an SME jidfb53fbfaen jit0626aen jpiy26aen
