Who are we? The Social Action Service (SASoc) provides assistance to those in need, to victims of crimes, to individuals under the asylum law, and manages the collection and disbursement of alimony advances. SASoc is responsible for improving and harmonizing the cantonal social action system and ensuring the implementation of social and family policies. You lead a dynamic specialized team and actively participate in discussions on the evolution of social action and family policy in collaboration with municipalities, cantons, and the main stakeholders in the field. To learn more about this mission and your profile, as the head of SASoc, you are responsible for the management and finances of this service, which includes around forty people. You are responsible for implementing the social policy and the asylum policy at the cantonal level, as well as family policy. You work closely with the Director of Health and Social Affairs and advise them in your area of activity. We are looking for a committed individual for this position who is fully aware of the current cantonal and federal issues prevailing in the field of social action and asylum. You have very good knowledge of the Fribourg network. You also possess the ability to understand complex issues through your keen sense of analysis and your experience in social policies and social work or complementary experience in management, complex project management, and/or public service. Excellent knowledge of the social field. Extensive experience in a position of responsibility and proven skills in personnel management. Ability to unite teams and scientific knowledge or proficiency in French or German with excellent knowledge of the other language.
