The head of the Clinical Surgery Center of La Source is a unique multidisciplinary acute care facility. It belongs to La Source, an independent and private non-profit institution that also oversees the Institute and High School of Health La Source. This independence allows it to continuously invest in human and technological aspects to ensure the best care for its patients. We are looking for a Head of the Surgery Center with the following key details: Reference: CLS/RH/ / Type of contract: Permanent full-time starting: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 X Riponne or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop “Beaulieu-Jomini”). In this context, we are recruiting a Head to support the development of our surgery center and its activities. What will you be responsible for? - Leading the management of the surgery center (day clinic and endoscopy activity)- Planning and optimizing flows and operations for efficiency- Supervising, coordinating, and uniting a multidisciplinary team (approx. 21 FTE)- Overseeing the management and training of staff and students- Ensuring quality, safety, and continuity of care throughout the patient journey- Adapting to the evolution of activities and proposing continuous improvement approaches and leading performance evaluations- Promoting collaboration with specialist and anesthesist doctors as well as all accredited physicians- Collaborating in the management and follow-up of audits and quality control and contributing to institutional projects- Implementing directives and promoting institutional projects- Ensuring smooth upward, downward, and horizontal communication with all partners Who will you work with? In the Day Clinic, our team consists of 10 nurses and 1 nursing assistant in endoscopy, and the service is characterized by solidarity, versatility, and a consistently cheerful and dynamic environment. In the Interventional unit, our team consists of 8 nurses and 4 technical assistants in endoscopy, and it is a supportive and dynamic group that is experienced and always curious about developing new skills and activities.
