WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Define, lead and develop the Group Quality strategy, ensuring the compliance of integrated management systems with regulatory, normative, customer and label requirements across all sites
  • Represent the company with certification bodies, authorities, customers and external partners, ensuring the success of audits and the implementation of associated improvement plans
  • Ensure control of quality and food safety risks by supervising HACCP, VACCP and TACCP approaches, and arbitrating decisions related to non-conformities, product blocks and withdrawal/recall procedures
  • Manage, develop and unite multi-site Quality teams, strengthening a quality culture focused on the field, responsibility, continuous improvement and performance
  • Support the company’s strategic projects, including new product launches, process developments and quality commitments to customers
  • Drive the Group’s quality performance through monitoring key indicators, controlling non-quality costs, risk analysis and reporting to General Management
  • Define the roadmap for internal laboratories and ensure the reliability of analyses, supporting their development towards the best reference standards, including ISO 17025 certification

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Higher education (university Master’s, HES or equivalent) in agri-food, life sciences, food technology or quality engineering; a quality auditor, HACCP or Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset
  • Proven experience of at least 8 to 10 years in a quality management role within the agri-food industry or a highly regulated industrial environment, including team management
  • Recognised expertise in quality and food safety management systems (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, ISO 17025, IFS/BRC), as well as HACCP, VACCP and TACCP methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting certification audits, customer audits and regulatory inspections, as well as managing critical situations such as major non-conformities or product withdrawals/recalls
  • Strong understanding of Swiss and European regulatory requirements, complemented by mastery of quality performance management tools and associated digital systems (ERP, LIMS, DMS, e-QMS)
  • Fluent in French and German; English is an asset
  • Recognised leadership, strong decision-making ability and great autonomy
  • Ability to unite and communicate with multidisciplinary teams, lead change, arbitrate in complex situations and promote a demanding, pragmatic and results-oriented quality culture
