Senior Construction Manager / Construction Project ManagerReporting directly to General Management.Core mission:Structure and manage the construction division of the general contractor, ensuring both:- site management- cost estimation and budget managementThis position has the potential to evolve into Head of Construction.Priority objectives (first 12 months)- Manage several projects independently.- Plan work and coordinate the various stakeholders.- Organize and lead site meetings.- Ensure technical, financial, and schedule monitoring.- Control costs, deadlines, quality, and safety.- Establish financial forecasts and ensure margin monitoring.Detailed missionsSite management:- Manage several projects independently.- Plan work and coordinate the various stakeholders.- Organize and lead site meetings.- Ensure technical, financial, and schedule monitoring.- Control costs, deadlines, quality, and safety.- Establish financial forecasts and ensure margin monitoring.- Manage additional work and amendments.- Validate quotes and invoices from companies.- Ensure work acceptance, the lifting of reservations, and follow-up on perfect completion.- Establish regular reporting to Management.Price studies / Cost estimation:- Analyze tender documents.- Perform measurements and cost estimates (CFC).- Develop budget forecasts.- Consult companies and negotiate prices.- Perform technical and economic variant analyses.- Participate in bid preparation.- Develop and maintain a database of prices.Profile:- Construction Manager- ES Technician in construction management- Construction Engineer- Or solid equivalent experience in a general contracting companyConfirmed experience:- Minimum 3 years of experience in a general contracting company.- Experience in construction management.- Mastery of cost estimation studies.- Experience on several projects managed simultaneously.Essential technical skills:- You have mastery of:- SIA standards;- CFC;- Tenders and company contracts;- Financial monitoring of projects;- MS Office tools, in particular MS Project;- Mastery of AutoCAD, Odoo is a real asset.- Good knowledge of the Geneva economic fabric as well as a network of partner companies will be appreciated.Essential personal skills:- your sense of organization;- your autonomy;- your rigor;- your leadership;- your analytical and decision-making capacity;- your entrepreneurial spirit;- your ease of communication;- your ability to unite teams around common objectives.Main language: FrenchSecondary languages: English (an asset)Field work: Category B driving license required.
