Engineering TechnicianAs part of our industrial project and the construction of our new manufacturing facility in Bernex, we are looking for a rigorous and autonomous professional with a strong technical sense, capable of designing technical solutions while remaining close to the field and production equipment. This position, at the heart of a major industrial project, requires an organized person capable of proposing robust technical solutions in an evolving environment.ENGINEERING TECHNICIANYOUR PROFILE- Higher technical education: ES Technician, HES Bachelor in mechanics, industrial engineering, or equivalent field;- Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment, with a strong field presence and concrete knowledge of production equipment;- Good knowledge of industrial equipment and mechanics applied to the design of machines;- Ability to write technical specifications and structure rigorous documentation;- Ability to design and model technical solutions autonomously using CAD software (mechanics, design of equipment);- Ease in technical exchanges with suppliers, manufacturers, and external partners;- Good level of English (an asset).POSITION AND YOUR FUTURE MISSIONS:Technical studies & feasibility;- Carry out design studies and modifications of existing industrial equipment;- Analyze the technical feasibility of projects, particularly for machines related to building infrastructure or interfaces that cannot be replicated identically;- Design & documentation;- Design, model, and dimension technical solutions, then develop and structure the associated documentation (plans, files, manuals);- Write specifications related to machines, suppliers, and investment needs;- Supplier management & project monitoring;- Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to define, challenge, and follow up on technical solutions;- Support projects from study to field implementation (tests, commissioning);- Cross-functional collaboration;- Collaborate closely with the Production, Methods & Maintenance, and General Services teams.YOUR FUTURE TEAM:You will join the Technical department, under the supervision of the Technical Management.WE OFFER- A stimulating environment within a globally recognized Swiss family business;- A contribution to a large-scale project: the construction of our new manufacturing facility in Bernex;- A high-impact mission, at the heart of the development of our industrial tools;- The possibility of teleworking;- On-site parking;- A contribution to public transport subscriptions;- A balance between professional and personal life;- A fixed-term contract of 12 months minimum, 100% activity rate;- Workplace: Thônex (future manufacturing facility: Bernex).WHY JOIN US?At Caran d'Ache, we have cultivated a passion for the art of drawing and writing for over 100 years.
