Assistant Educator at 80%

in the Department of Childhood, Schools and Social Cohesion, Out-of-School Care Sector

Your duties

• Support the site manager in their organisational, administrative and strategic tasks
• Accompany the socio-educational development of children in accordance with the missions of out-of-school care
• Support and strengthen the care of children with specific needs in accordance with the related concepts
• Establish and maintain relational links with parents and other partners
• Adopt a global vision of the City’s care services and actively participate in reflections and improvement projects
• Accompany children on site
• Work over 5 days from Monday to Friday

Your profile

• Higher education qualification in the field of childhood or equivalent training
• Confirmed professional experience in caring for children aged 4 to 12 years
• Sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and in a team, reflectiveness and stress resistance
• Ease in communication and networking
• Knowledge of the Fribourg childhood network
• Proficiency in the use of common IT tools
• Professional trainer certificate is an asset
• Fluency in French with very good knowledge of German
