Project manager - Business analyst

As a Project manager - Business analyst you operate in a balance between project management and business analysis on transformation projects related to banking products and services (loans, investments, payments, daily services, operations) as well as regulatory matters. You are responsible for the overall success of projects, from scoping to adoption in production, with a high level of demand on the quality of deliverables and operational impact.

Your missions

  • Project manager :
    • Manage projects end to end according to the internal methodology.
    • Structure governance and lead steering committees in connection with sponsors and General Management.
    • Make necessary decisions and ensure alignment between business, IT and regulatory issues.
    • Coordinate all stakeholders.
    • Develop solid business cases (ROI, cost/benefit analysis).
    • Ensure clear and structured reporting.
    • Manage risks, dependencies, budgets and milestones rigorously.
  • Business Analyst :
    • Analyse and document existing processes (AS IS) using structured approaches (BPMN, swimlanes).
    • Identify inefficiencies and propose concrete optimisations with a view to operational performance.
    • Define target scenarios (TO BE) and formalise functional requirements.
    • Write functional specifications for IT teams and partners.
    • Contribute to testing phases (SIT, UAT) and coordinate production deployment.
    • Manage change (communication, training, process adaptation).
    • Ensure post-deployment follow-up: business adoption, performance indicators and continuous improvement.
    • Integrate regulatory constraints.

Your profile

  • Higher education in management, finance, IT or equivalent.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in project management and business analysis in the banking or financial sector.
  • Mastery of at least one of the following areas: Financing (mortgage, Lombard, Corporate), Investments and Wealth Management, Operations, Client Life Cycle and CRM, Banking regulations.
  • Proven experience in direct production of functional analysis deliverables without delegation.
  • Mastery of waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Process modelling (BPMN / swimlanes).
  • Good understanding of IT environments and ability to interact with technical teams.
  • Knowledge of a BPM/workflow tool (Appway is an asset).
  • Ability to build business cases.
  • Sensitivity to digitalisation and innovation issues.
  • Ability to navigate complex environments with assertiveness and diplomacy.
  • Excellent communication at all levels (management, business, IT).
  • Analytical mind, critical thinking and synthesis skills.
  • Autonomy, sense of responsibility and results orientation.
