Delicatessen Caterer



Mandatory CFC Delicatessen or equivalent
Very good knowledge of food safety standards
Minimum 2 years experience required
Experience in cooking is a plus
Meticulous, precise and rigorous
Good physical condition
Commercial awareness
Excellent presentation
French language mandatory, other languages an asset Main tasks:

  • Ability to assess the quality of meat cuts, carve and prepare them.
  • Manage cooking, smoking, brining and preservation.
  • Good knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
-Good interpersonal skills and customer service sense, ability to advise customers on the choice and preparation of meats
  • Packaging, preparation of homemade products: sausages, pâtés, terrines, beef wellington
-Prepare meat, spices and additives, apply recipes for the production of delicatessen products.
  • Make terrines and pâtés en croûte
  • Prepare cured meats (dried meat, bacon, hams, regional specialties), smoke, dry or cook the product to give it a particular flavour.
  • Cook daily dishes and prepare ready-to-sell packaging
