L’éorén is a regional compulsory school with multiple sites, bringing together six Neuchâtel municipalities organised into five school centres: www.eoren.ch
The General Secretariat of l’éorén serves the political authorities and is also responsible for cross-functional services, namely human resources, finance and school infrastructures.
To complete our dynamic team, we are looking for a:
School Infrastructure Manager at 100%
Your activities:

Take responsibility for the caretaking sector and supervise a team of 12 employees. In this role, you plan and coordinate maintenance activities, manage replacements, human resources, external contracts as well as orders for products, materials and maintenance equipment.

Plan, coordinate and lead the relocation and settling-in projects of the secondary schools, ensuring deadlines, budgets and user needs are met.

Conduct acquisition procedures for furniture, equipment and IT materials, in compliance with public procurement rules. Organise and monitor tenders, manage awarded contracts and oversee inventory tracking.

Identify, plan and coordinate maintenance, renovation and transformation works of school buildings in collaboration with municipal services and relevant partners.

Manage and ensure the proper functioning of the school and sports infrastructures at the Mail site (classrooms, sports facilities and swimming pool), particularly regarding safety, technical operation, preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as monitoring repair and remediation works.

Act as the interface between users of the Mail secondary school, the school management and construction stakeholders (mainly the DT) within the framework of the school renovation project (2026–2030).

Develop, monitor and control operating and investment budgets related to your area of activity.

Advise and support the management of the five school centres in infrastructure and procurement management, while working closely with teaching teams to identify and meet their needs.
Your profile:

Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in building technology, operations or an equivalent qualification. Ideally complemented by a Federal Caretaker Certificate, a Federal Maintenance Certificate, a Federal Diploma, a Bachelor of Science HES in Facility Management, or a Federal Foreman Construction Diploma.

Proven experience of several years in managing complex infrastructures, project and site management, and budget control.

Demonstrated experience in team supervision and coordination of external service providers.

Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills.

Mastery of building and technical installation maintenance processes.

Excellent interpersonal skills, public service orientation and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools and ease in using management IT tools.
