To strengthen our internal team dedicated to one of our clients, we are looking for an Operations and Support Technician N1-N2 in Geneva.

This position combines data flow operations and technical infrastructure support. The scope covers all levels 1 and 2, but we are looking for a profile with the background and autonomy of a true N2 technician. The ideal candidate must be able to diagnose and resolve most incidents independently, particularly on the server side, to limit escalations to level 3.

The start date is planned for July.

Your role:

1. Technical support and infrastructure maintenance

• Server maintenance: Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of servers, monitor performance indicators (disk space, alerts) and participate in patching operations.
• Incident management: Handle user requests and system alerts from first level through to technical resolution at level 2.
• Environment and connectivity: Manage rights and access on applications, and resolve errors related to file transfers or server connections.
• Service continuity: Perform regular health checks of infrastructures and participate in disaster recovery tests.
• Documentation: Write and update the team’s operational procedures.

2. Data flow operations and monitoring

• Process monitoring: Track the execution of automated periodic processes (batches, loads, publications) and restart failed flows according to procedures.
• Partner flow monitoring: Control the proper receipt and sending of data with external suppliers and report anomalies.
• Periodic closures: Actively participate in month-end and year-end activities (verification of processes and validation of results).
• Reference data: Update configuration data and exclusion lists as instructed.

Profile sought:

• Languages and location: Fluent French, professional English (reading technical documentation) and mandatory residence in Switzerland.
• Education and experience: CFC diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role combining support and operations.
• N2 posture and autonomy: Ability to investigate, be autonomous in resolution and identify the root cause of an incident (pure N2 profile, not just ticket transfer).
• Infrastructure and Servers: Strong IT infrastructure knowledge including basic administration, maintenance and server monitoring.
• SQL skills: Basic SQL knowledge to read, understand and modify queries to diagnose and correct data anomalies.
• Flows and Scheduling: Good mastery of data flow dynamics and automated processing mechanisms (batches, transfer protocols).
• ITSM tools: Experience working with incident management tools, knowledge of ServiceNow is a plus.
• Rigor and deadlines: Strong organisational skills for monitoring recurring processes and strict compliance with banking closure deadlines.
• Interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate fluently with business users (N1) and collaborate effectively with engineering technical teams (N3).
