Description
The LPP and Western Switzerland Foundations Supervisory Authority (As-So) is responsible for overseeing pension institutions headquartered in the cantons of Vaud, Valais, Neuchâtel, and Jura, as well as the supervision of traditional foundations based in the cantons of Vaud, Neuchâtel, and Jura. Its mission is to ensure compliance with legal provisions and proper management of the assets entrusted to the supervised institutions.
As a legal officer, you will strengthen our team overseeing so-called "traditional" foundations active in areas such as philanthropy, health, social work, or culture. Interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to varied circumstances are therefore particularly sought-after qualities.
Legal Officer (80-100 %)
Your mission
You will independently ensure, in collaboration with specialists, the legal compliance of the supervised foundations. You will contribute to guaranteeing their sustainability by ensuring the correct application of legislation.
Your activities
- Supervise foundations in accordance with federal legislation
- Make administrative decisions throughout their lifecycle (placing under supervision, restructurings, complaints, statutes, enforcement measures, etc.)
- Conduct proceedings before judicial bodies (TC, TAF, TF)
- Contribute to the development and evolution of internal legal texts
- Participate in professional exchanges and propose coherent solutions
Your profile
- Master’s degree in law (bar admission or experience with a court is an asset)
- At least 3 years of professional experience
- Good knowledge of administrative procedures as well as foundation law or corporate law in general
- Proficiency in legal German
- Analytical and synthetic thinking
- Sense of responsibility and decision-making ability
- Discretion and excellent communication skills
