The Construction and Planning Service is the competent authority for spatial planning. It monitors compliance with legal standards and prepares opinions for the prefectures.

- Be responsible for handling the processing of appeals lodged against local development plans, in coordination with the local planning section of the Service, as well as cases of illegal constructions outside the building zone
- Propose decisions on appeals to the Directorate of Territorial Development, Infrastructure, Mobility and Environment (DIME), as well as in the field of constructions outside the building zone
- Participate in the drafting of legislative texts, directives and legal opinions
- Handle capital gains tax cases related to the competence area of DIME
- Work with other State services, Prefectures, municipalities and individuals
- Licence or master’s degree in law (a lawyer’s certificate would be an advantage)
- Good IT skills and knowledge of legal research possibilities on the internet
- Excellent writing skills
- Team spirit and initiative
- Fluency in French with good knowledge of German
