Description

As a Technical Manager in property and asset insurance, you will strengthen the Bulle team and provide high-level technical support in the management of property and asset claims (buildings, contents, technical equipment, liability, etc). You will ensure rigorous management of claims requiring specialised expertise, in direct contact with insurers, clients and internal teams.

Your tasks

Claims management

  • Independently manage a portfolio of claims in the relevant branches;
  • Coordinate claims with companies, contractors and clients;
  • Ensure follow-up of claims / proactive reminders and support our clients with insurance companies;
  • Manage, verify and transmit documents from insurance companies and clients;
  • Verify the accuracy of settlements;
  • Advise clients by telephone and/or email;
  • Manage delegated Heritage and international claims for our local policies;
  • Provide technical training to the client;
  • Be responsible for quality and document traceability;
  • Present claims audits to clients;
  • Update our IT tools (Brokers, M-Files, Power BI, etc.) according to directives;
  • Other administrative tasks on request;

Cross-functional support & expertise

  • Provide technical support to internal management teams on complex claims files;
  • Support relevant colleagues during audits, specific assignments or meeting preparations;
  • Participate in drafting the management of framework contracts and collective solutions;
  • Be a recognised contact for companies, experts and partners;
  • Support client advisors;
  • Ensure optimisation of coverages based on claims experience;
  • Gather necessary information, establish calls for tenders and coverage comparisons to support relevant colleagues;

Training and development

  • Contribute to knowledge transfer through seminars or internal training;
  • Participate in technical presentations for clients or prospects;

Your profile

  • Higher education in the insurance field, or equivalent, with AFA certificate;
  • Proven experience in managing property and asset claims;
  • Proficiency in office tools and insurance management software (such as Brokers, M-Files, MS Office, etc.);
  • Excellent ability to simplify technical subjects, rigour, autonomy;
  • Good interpersonal skills and team spirit;
  • Very good command of French and English;
